Dr. Barreto’s passion for transforming smiles and lives has been the cornerstone of his 20+ year career in dentistry. A graduate of the prestigious Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry at the University of the Pacific, San Francisco — Dr. Barreto began his professional journey as a captain in the U.S. Army Dental Corps. For three years, he provided critical oral health care to soldiers, ensuring their readiness for duty and cultivating a dedication to precision and excellence.

Since then, he has continued his education with the following global dental boards and associations, advancing his knowledge to provide cutting-edge care:

• Diplomate and Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists
• Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry

Today, Dr. Barreto leads his practice, Monarch Lakes Dental Group, with a shared vision of uncompromising excellence. Driven by a mission to help patients regain their confidence and improve quality of life, Dr. Barreto developed a deep expertise in dental implants and full-mouth rehabilitation. His skills span the entire process—from surgical placement to the final restoration—delivering unparalleled results. Whether recovering missing teeth or transitioning from removable dentures, Dr. Barreto empowers patients to elevate their quality of life, restoring both functionality and self-esteem.

Beyond dental implants, Dr. Barreto’s practice offers a full spectrum of general and cosmetic dental treatments, including teeth whitening, crowns, fillings, and preventive care. Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Delia Cruz Pozo earned her D.M.D. from Boston University. She also completed training in dentistry at the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences, Villa Clara in addition to receiving the Dr. Thomas Anderson Armstrong Award for Professionalism.

Dr. Pozo is passionate about providing quality service and believes in delivering holistic dental care. As a dental professional, she has her finger on the pulse of the latest advancements in dentistry to provide elevated treatment options to her patients. Dr. Pozo works hand-in-hand with patients to help them thoroughly understand their condition and choose the appropriate treatment plan, tailored to their needs.
